Hidden Cutscene [Easter Egg]
At the very start of Chapter 1-1, take your first right just past the building and you will see a quick cutscene of a fellow in an unfortunate predicament.
Hidden Dialog [Easter Egg]
If you wait around long enough at the very beginning of Chapter 1-1, before any checkpoints, you will trigger a conversation between Sheva and Chris in which Chris gives a scathing critique of the American Dream.
Heart Stopper Trophy
How to unlock: Its pretty easy in a way. 1st you go to 5-1 and just run to the part where you face two lickers. Kill one of them and and shoot the surviving one with a shotgun until he's on his back then run up to him and press square. This is really easy on veteran with a handcannon and a shotgun with unlimited ammo. It is easiest on professional.
Hidden Treasure - Topaz (Marquise)
*** This is significantly easier with unlimited ammo. After encountering your first Majini and jumping out the window in Chapter 1-1, a long wave of Majini will stream out of an alleyway. Instead of running for safety, take them on. After 20 or so, a final one will leave behind the Topaz (Marquise).
Bypass the Locked Gate in 2-1
How to: At the very end of 2-1 you will ascend a building before fighting the chainsaw-wielding maniac. At the top of the building, you are prompted to split up so Sheva can work her way to the other side of the locked door below. You can avoid this entire scene and stay together by unlocking this door in an alternate way.
You will need a hand grenade, which you can find on the first balcony up the stairs in the building with the locked door. Actually, you will probably need more than one since this is a tricky toss. On this very balcony (the first one, not the top one), position yourself directly across from the "Animal Health" sign. Lob a grenade at this sign (aim a but lower than you think) and it will rebound off of it and land near the locked door below. This will blow off the lock. Go downstairs and exit via the door.
Alternatively, if you have the Gatling Gun, you can push it through the door and it will shoot off the lock from the other side.
Avoid the Cage in 6-1
Description: Upon beginning this level you will be able to climb to the top of the crow's nest to the left of your spawn point. From here you may snipe the enemy that operates the crane. Look for him under the arm of the crane by the controls to the upper left. This will allow you to skip the scene in which your partner gets trapped in the cage. You can also snipe the enemy half way up the ladder, and the one by the caged area. The latter is easier to shoot from the level's initial beginning point.
Alternate Way to Unlock Professional Difficulty
How to: If you get invited to play a level on Professional via PSN with someone who has unlocked Professional Difficulty in their game, it will then be unlocked in yours.
Majini Distraction
Description: You can click both analog sticks to taunt or goad nearby Majini into coming at you instead of your partner. Have your shotgun ready. "C'mon, c'mon!"

Discarding Weapons in Mercenaries Mode
In Mercenaries mode, ammunition drops are based on the type of weapons you have. Use this to your advantage by discarding weapons you do not use. This causes more ammunition to be dropped for other weapons. Example: For Wesker (Stars), drop the Samurai Edge to find more Magnum and Shotgun ammo.
Inventory Reload in Mercenaries Mode
Description: In Mercenaries mode you can reload your weapon by pulling up your Inventory screen and combining the ammunition manually with the gun (using the "Move" command button). Once you get used to this, you can use it to your advantage since it is a lot faster then reloading your shotgun, for instance, on the fly. More importantly, you can use this trick while climbing a ladder or when you are a jumping down to really save some time -- and possibly your neck.

Also, for two people to increase the amount of eggs quickly, you will have to pass them back and forth, alternating who is saving and who isn't. Finally, you may request eggs from the computer once the guest has quit out to make this process faster.

(Lost in Nightmares) Old-School Resident Evil Mode
How to unlock: At the very beginning of the game, turn around and activate the prompt at the front door. Do this three times and on the 3rd time a ? will appear. Activate this and the game will switch to tank controlled, fixed-camera "classic mode!"

Hidden Majini [Easter Egg]
Description: In the 3rd part of Chapter 2-2, look for a green portable toilet just past the truck with a gatling gun. Politely knock on it for a surprise. Oh, and have a weapon ready.
Update : Our previous reference to a hidden "zombie" was incorrect. It is not a "zombie," but a "regular Majini." Quite regular.

Restart the chapter and you can collect everything a 2nd time. This works well in chapters 1-2, 3-1 (the hovercraft level) and 4-1 (caves). As a general rule, this "farming" method works especially well in levels in which you can collect weapons worth money and ample hidden treasures like jewels and beetles. For instance, 3-1 has copious amounts of treasures, and a Rocket Launcher on the sunken boat that you can repeatedly collect.

Easy Money
At the start of chapter 5-3 run through the door to your right and head up the ladder carry, on foward into the office/control room, as you enter the room on the floor to the left hand side of chris/sheva you will find a safe with a blue saphire (marquise) stone worth £3000, collect the stone, quit and save and then repeat until desired amount has been reached. (can get a bit tedious with chris and sheva repeating themselves).

Description: Unlock the Rocket Launcher with infinite ammo
How to unlock: win the game under 5 hours on any difficulty, and turn infinite ammo on under bonus features.
Resident Evil 5 (PS3) - Unlimited Ammo Any Gun
You have to upgrade a weapon to its max. After that, go to the 'Bonus Features' option to buy the Infinite Ammo for that same weapon. You have to use points to buy them. Once you have purchased the infinite ammo for the certain weapon, you can turn it on by going to the 'Special Settings' option.

Unlimited $$$ Money
You can collect $$$ money at the beginning of a chapter, pause, quit, and restart the chapter, then collect money another time. This works well in chapter 1-2 where there is a chest worth 1,000 credits on the 3rd floor. Repeat these steps for more.
The Chair [Easter Egg]
In this stupid Easter Egg, Chris and Sheva can take a short rest in a chair. There are chairs in Chapter 5-3 (at the beginning of the chapter, far end of the lab) and Chapter 6-2 (the captain's seat).
The Heart of Africa
Description: There is a special treasure to be had in the boss fight with Jill and Wesker.
How to: If you beat up Wesker enough in the seven minutes he has to spare, the Heart of Africa treasure will appear between the two stairs on the bottom level -- behind where Jill spawns during the 2nd half of the fight (and you can pick it up in the 2nd half too). One Rocket in Wesker's well-groomed face will do the trick (you have to shoot the rocket with another rocket or a gun while he holds it). Hide at the end of a long passage after he kicks you through the wall. Soon you will see on your map that he's spinning around, looking for you. Shoot him with a rocket then.
Evade Attacks
How to: If you have ammo or other pickups at your feet, you can use them to evade enemy grabs and other attacks. Simply initiate the item pickup as the enemy begins its attack animation. You will be invincible as you bend down. Your AI partner will temporarily remain invincible as well. This can save your life in Mercenaries!
Wesker's Dash Attack

At the start of chapter 5-3 run through the door to your right and head up the ladder carry, on foward into the office/control room, as you enter the room on the floor to the left hand side of chris/sheva you will find a safe with a blue saphire (marquise) stone worth £3000, collect the stone, quit and save and then repeat until desired amount has been reached. (can get a bit tedious with chris and sheva repeating themselves).

You can collect $$$ money at the beginning of a chapter, pause, quit, and restart the chapter, then collect money another time. This works well in chapter 1-2 where there is a chest worth 1,000 credits on the 3rd floor. Repeat these steps for more.

Egg cheat Easy n fast million eggs.
You need a friend or very co operative 2nd player on psn.
we followed the egg cheat..till we had quite a few.
then saved the "game save" to a flash drive. then co opped again and in the 1st inventery screen gave the guy all the eggs you have.
then start the game and quit and save
then reload the game save from the flash drive.
if you both do this in about 15 minutes you'll have enough eggs for a million coins, maybe less if youre fast with the controller lol

An easy money tip!!!
Okay so go to chapter 5-1 and go through till you have to go down the halways with the lickers and kill them all after you kill them and collect five lion hearts dont go through the door just quit the game and sell them or you can just continue and when you continue it will start you off at the lickers again then kill them and collect and quit and repeat you get like 12500 or something of the sort I find having the magnum with infinate ammo is the easiest way to get this done quick :D

Blowing UpThe Sun Beam Laser Blasters In The Worship Area
Use an infinite rocket launcher to aim and fire at the base of the two Sun Beam laser blasters before beginning your mission to retrieve all three emblems. This will permanently disable those pesky laser beams and allow you to complete your mission without becoming toast.

Upon starting this level you'll be able to climb to the top of the crow's nest to the left of your spawn point. From here you may snipe the enemy that operates the crane. Look for him under the arm of the crane by the controls to the upper left. This will allow you to skip the scene in which your partner gets trapped in the cage. You can also snipe the enemy half way up the ladder, and the one by the caged area. The latter is easier to shoot from the level's initial starting point.
How to get infinite ammo easy/long way
First of all you need to have already complete the game because you need to go to chapter 5-3 (the chapter after the regenerator where exella is talking.If you have then head up the ladder and go strait!You should find the room that exella was talking in!(I said you have to complete the game first)Because if you want to top up a gun fully you have to complete the game (last level) any way go inside and you should find a safe although it opens autamaticly there should be a gem worth 3000 gold coins sell that and keep doing this to get infinite ammo but if you want --- ammo go to bonus features when you buy the best gun.Hope this works!
Mini-Boss Essential Tips
There are quite a few mini-bosses with Resident Evil 5: The Executioner, The Chainsaw Majini and the Uroboros BOW. Here are a few facts about them:
-The Executioner only appears at the start of the game, or the Mercenaries mini-game. At the game's beginning, I would bother engaging in combat UNLESS it's NOT your first time. Your weapons on your first go will most certainly not be enough to take him out, however if you REALLY insist, you can shoot the red barrels when he is close to them, then when he's stunned, run up and whack him with a melee attack.
On Mercenaries, he's a bit easier, since you've got a few better weapons. I'll assume you're playing as Chris, Sheva or both. If you're Chris, your shotgun is a must. If your Sheva, your Rifle should take hik out in around 6-10 shots.
-The Chainsaw Majini appears multiple times throughout the game. The only real weapon for him is a shotgun, and the same goes when playing Mercenaries. Rifle bullets have the same effect, but they're more valuable, so save them.
-The Uroboros BOW appears twice. Once about 1/5 through the game, and once about 4/5 through. The first one is relatively easy. Simply provoke it into the burning chamber, and your partner will press a button. Don't go out straight away, or the BOW will follow you. Instead, wait until the doors are nearly closed and then roll out.
The second is a tad more tricky. Keep it busy until you are told that 'it has refuelled'. 'It' is a flamethrower attached to the far wall. Pick it up and let fly. Every now and then, the BOW will spawn weak spots. Leave your partner to shoot those. When the flamethrower requires refuelling , simply rinse and repeat.

You can do this with firing only 1 shot! Use the farming method on level 3-1 marshland. So So follow these simple insturctions for some easy cash.
After starting the level, press the select button to bypass the cutscene. At the first area, collect the jewel and beetle on the post to the right of the alter. DO NOT COLLECT ANY OF THE KEYS on this level. This will spawn enemies. Don't waste your ammo. I skip the south eastern village. But if youw ant to add an extra 2 minutes for another 3000 credits, go for it.
Next head straight towards the middle island. I find it quickest to cut through the fences and hook left to the island. Collect the beetle on the post to the left, collect the item in the hut, collect the white eggs to the right of the hut, and look for any other eggs the chickens may have laid in your time there. Get back on your boat.
Hook left to go to the northern village. collect the 2 jewels in the skulls (one above the alter, the other above the first hut on the right). Proceed to the end and assist jump your partner. Get back on your boat.
Get the beetle on the tree with the purple flowerds next to it straight ahead as you go around the fence. Hook right and head to the sunken ship and collect the beetle at the water line and the rocket launcher. Leave.
Head to the north west area. Jump in the pond in the middle and collect the beetle. Get back up and head up the ladder and collect the last item in the chest. Press start and exit. Let it save, go to your item management area, and sell of the goods you just collected. Bam! 15k plus in 5 minutes, baby!

At the very start of Chapter 1-1, take your first right just past the building and you will see a quick cutscene of a fellow in an unfortunate predicament.
Hidden Dialog [Easter Egg]
If you wait around long enough at the very beginning of Chapter 1-1, before any checkpoints, you will trigger a conversation between Sheva and Chris in which Chris gives a scathing critique of the American Dream.
Heart Stopper Trophy
How to unlock: Its pretty easy in a way. 1st you go to 5-1 and just run to the part where you face two lickers. Kill one of them and and shoot the surviving one with a shotgun until he's on his back then run up to him and press square. This is really easy on veteran with a handcannon and a shotgun with unlimited ammo. It is easiest on professional.
Hidden Treasure - Topaz (Marquise)
*** This is significantly easier with unlimited ammo. After encountering your first Majini and jumping out the window in Chapter 1-1, a long wave of Majini will stream out of an alleyway. Instead of running for safety, take them on. After 20 or so, a final one will leave behind the Topaz (Marquise).
Bypass the Locked Gate in 2-1
How to: At the very end of 2-1 you will ascend a building before fighting the chainsaw-wielding maniac. At the top of the building, you are prompted to split up so Sheva can work her way to the other side of the locked door below. You can avoid this entire scene and stay together by unlocking this door in an alternate way.
You will need a hand grenade, which you can find on the first balcony up the stairs in the building with the locked door. Actually, you will probably need more than one since this is a tricky toss. On this very balcony (the first one, not the top one), position yourself directly across from the "Animal Health" sign. Lob a grenade at this sign (aim a but lower than you think) and it will rebound off of it and land near the locked door below. This will blow off the lock. Go downstairs and exit via the door.
Alternatively, if you have the Gatling Gun, you can push it through the door and it will shoot off the lock from the other side.

Description: You can click both analog sticks to taunt or goad nearby Majini into coming at you instead of your partner. Have your shotgun ready. "C'mon, c'mon!"

Discarding Weapons in Mercenaries Mode
In Mercenaries mode, ammunition drops are based on the type of weapons you have. Use this to your advantage by discarding weapons you do not use. This causes more ammunition to be dropped for other weapons. Example: For Wesker (Stars), drop the Samurai Edge to find more Magnum and Shotgun ammo.
Inventory Reload in Mercenaries Mode
Description: In Mercenaries mode you can reload your weapon by pulling up your Inventory screen and combining the ammunition manually with the gun (using the "Move" command button). Once you get used to this, you can use it to your advantage since it is a lot faster then reloading your shotgun, for instance, on the fly. More importantly, you can use this trick while climbing a ladder or when you are a jumping down to really save some time -- and possibly your neck.

Inventory Duplication
Description: This requires two very cooperative human players, and a Live connection.
1 // In the Inventory Lobby, invite a friend.
2 // Start the level (use 1.2 to make it easy). Have the host hand items (Rotten Eggs, First Aid, Ammo) off to the guest for duplication.
3 // With a full inventory, have the guest leave the game (it should say "All unsaved progress will be lost" -- select "Yes").
5 // After selecting "Yes," another question for the guest will appear asking whether or not to save status and ammo. Choose "Yes" to save and you will have all the passed-on inventory saved.
6 // Now, back to the host: Quit out of the game, but at the 2nd question, choose "No" and do not save ammo and status.
7 // Restart the game with the two characters and you will both have the ammo and items. Duplication successful! (*** You cannot do this with weapons as you cannot hand them off to your partner.)
Addendum: A popular money-making strategy involves duplicating Gold or Rotten Eggs. These are worth $2,000 a pop, and 5 can be crammed in each inventory slot. That means you can eventually be duplicating $90,000 each time. Finding Rotten Eggs can be tough; they drop randomly from enemies in later levels. Also, for two people to increase the amount of eggs quickly, you will have to pass them back and forth, alternating who is saving and who isn't. Finally, you may request eggs from the computer once the guest has quit out to make this process faster.

(Lost in Nightmares) Old-School Resident Evil Mode
How to unlock: At the very beginning of the game, turn around and activate the prompt at the front door. Do this three times and on the 3rd time a ? will appear. Activate this and the game will switch to tank controlled, fixed-camera "classic mode!"
Inventory Duplication
Description: This requires two very cooperative human players, and a Live connection (or two profiles and a split screen co-op game).
1) In the Inventory Lobby, invite a friend.
2) Start the level (use 1.2 to make it easy). Have the host hand items (Rotten Eggs, First Aid, Ammo) off to the guest for duplication.
3) With a full inventory, have the guest leave the game (it should say "All unsaved progress will be lost" -- select "Yes").
4) After selecting "Yes," another question for the guest will appear asking whether or not to save status and ammo. Choose "Yes" to save and you will have all the passed-on inventory saved.
5) Now, back to the host: Quit out of the game, but at the 2nd question, choose "No" and do not save ammo and status.
6) Restart the game with the two characters and you will both have the ammo and items. Duplication successful! (*** You cannot do this with weapons as you cannot hand them off to your partner.)
** *** A popular money-making strategy involves duplicating Gold or Rotten Eggs. These are worth $2,000 a pop, and 5 can be crammed in each inventory slot. That means you can eventually be duplicating $90,000 each time. Finding Rotten Eggs can be tough; they drop randomly from enemies in later levels. Also, for two people to increase the amount of eggs quickly, you will have to pass them back and forth, alternating who is saving and who isn't. Finally, you may request eggs from the computer once the guest has quit out to make this process faster.
Hidden Majini [Easter Egg]
Description: In the 3rd part of Chapter 2-2, look for a green portable toilet just past the truck with a gatling gun. Politely knock on it for a surprise. Oh, and have a weapon ready.
Update : Our previous reference to a hidden "zombie" was incorrect. It is not a "zombie," but a "regular Majini." Quite regular.
Discarding Weapons in Mercenaries Mode
In Mercenaries mode, ammunition drops are based on the type of weapons you have. Use this to your advantage by discarding weapons you do not use. This causes more ammunition to be dropped for other weapons. Example: For Wesker (Stars), drop the Samurai Edge to find more Magnum and Shotgun ammo.
Inventory Reload in Mercenaries Mode
Description: In Mercenaries mode you can reload your weapon by pulling up your Inventory screen and combining the ammunition manually with the gun (using the "Move" command button). Once you get used to this, you can use it to your advantage since it is a lot faster then reloading your shotgun, for instance, on the fly. More importantly, you can use this trick while climbing a ladder or when you are a jumping down to really save some time -- and possibly your neck.
Wesker's Dash Attack
Description: When using the unlockable character Wesker in Mercenaries, you can click the Right Analog Stick (sometimes called R3) to initiate a dash. Press R1 + R2 while dashing to do a knee attack. Warning: This move will drain your own life meter, so use it sparingly!
Unlimited Money & Ammo
How to unlock: Unlike in Resident Evil 4, your ammo and money carry over every time you replay a level. Collect money and ammo in a chapter; then pause, save and quit. Restart the chapter and you can collect everything a 2nd time. This works well in chapters 1-2, 3-1 (the hovercraft level) and 4-1 (caves). As a general rule, this "farming" method works especially well in levels in which you can collect weapons worth money and ample hidden treasures like jewels and beetles. The Chair [Easter Egg]
In this stupid Easter Egg, Chris and Sheva can take a short rest in a chair. There are chairs in Chapter 5-3 (at the beginning of the chapter, far end of the lab) and Chapter 6-2 (the captain's seat).
The Heart of Africa
Description: There is a special treasure to be had in the boss fight with Jill and Wesker.
How to: If you beat up Wesker enough in the seven minutes he has to spare, the Heart of Africa treasure will appear between the two stairs on the bottom level -- behind where Jill spawns during the 2nd half of the fight (and you can pick it up in the 2nd half too). One Rocket in Wesker's well-groomed face will do the trick (you have to shoot the rocket with another rocket or a gun while he holds it). Hide at the end of a long passage after he kicks you through the wall. Soon you will see on your map that he's spinning around, looking for you. Shoot him with a rocket then.
Evade Attacks
How to: If you have ammo or other pickups at your feet, you can use them to evade enemy grabs and other attacks. Simply initiate the item pickup as the enemy begins its attack animation. You will be invincible as you bend down. Your AI partner will temporarily remain invincible as well. This can save your life in Mercenaries!

Egg cheat Easy n fast million eggs.
You need a friend or very co operative 2nd player on psn.
we followed the egg cheat..till we had quite a few.
then saved the "game save" to a flash drive. then co opped again and in the 1st inventery screen gave the guy all the eggs you have.
then start the game and quit and save
then reload the game save from the flash drive.
if you both do this in about 15 minutes you'll have enough eggs for a million coins, maybe less if youre fast with the controller lol

An easy money tip!!!
Okay so go to chapter 5-1 and go through till you have to go down the halways with the lickers and kill them all after you kill them and collect five lion hearts dont go through the door just quit the game and sell them or you can just continue and when you continue it will start you off at the lickers again then kill them and collect and quit and repeat you get like 12500 or something of the sort I find having the magnum with infinate ammo is the easiest way to get this done quick :D

Use an infinite rocket launcher to aim and fire at the base of the two Sun Beam laser blasters before beginning your mission to retrieve all three emblems. This will permanently disable those pesky laser beams and allow you to complete your mission without becoming toast.

Upon starting this level you'll be able to climb to the top of the crow's nest to the left of your spawn point. From here you may snipe the enemy that operates the crane. Look for him under the arm of the crane by the controls to the upper left. This will allow you to skip the scene in which your partner gets trapped in the cage. You can also snipe the enemy half way up the ladder, and the one by the caged area. The latter is easier to shoot from the level's initial starting point.
How to get infinite ammo easy/long way
First of all you need to have already complete the game because you need to go to chapter 5-3 (the chapter after the regenerator where exella is talking.If you have then head up the ladder and go strait!You should find the room that exella was talking in!(I said you have to complete the game first)Because if you want to top up a gun fully you have to complete the game (last level) any way go inside and you should find a safe although it opens autamaticly there should be a gem worth 3000 gold coins sell that and keep doing this to get infinite ammo but if you want --- ammo go to bonus features when you buy the best gun.Hope this works!
Mini-Boss Essential Tips
There are quite a few mini-bosses with Resident Evil 5: The Executioner, The Chainsaw Majini and the Uroboros BOW. Here are a few facts about them:
-The Executioner only appears at the start of the game, or the Mercenaries mini-game. At the game's beginning, I would bother engaging in combat UNLESS it's NOT your first time. Your weapons on your first go will most certainly not be enough to take him out, however if you REALLY insist, you can shoot the red barrels when he is close to them, then when he's stunned, run up and whack him with a melee attack.
On Mercenaries, he's a bit easier, since you've got a few better weapons. I'll assume you're playing as Chris, Sheva or both. If you're Chris, your shotgun is a must. If your Sheva, your Rifle should take hik out in around 6-10 shots.
-The Chainsaw Majini appears multiple times throughout the game. The only real weapon for him is a shotgun, and the same goes when playing Mercenaries. Rifle bullets have the same effect, but they're more valuable, so save them.
-The Uroboros BOW appears twice. Once about 1/5 through the game, and once about 4/5 through. The first one is relatively easy. Simply provoke it into the burning chamber, and your partner will press a button. Don't go out straight away, or the BOW will follow you. Instead, wait until the doors are nearly closed and then roll out.
The second is a tad more tricky. Keep it busy until you are told that 'it has refuelled'. 'It' is a flamethrower attached to the far wall. Pick it up and let fly. Every now and then, the BOW will spawn weak spots. Leave your partner to shoot those. When the flamethrower requires refuelling , simply rinse and repeat.

You can do this with firing only 1 shot! Use the farming method on level 3-1 marshland. So So follow these simple insturctions for some easy cash.
After starting the level, press the select button to bypass the cutscene. At the first area, collect the jewel and beetle on the post to the right of the alter. DO NOT COLLECT ANY OF THE KEYS on this level. This will spawn enemies. Don't waste your ammo. I skip the south eastern village. But if youw ant to add an extra 2 minutes for another 3000 credits, go for it.
Next head straight towards the middle island. I find it quickest to cut through the fences and hook left to the island. Collect the beetle on the post to the left, collect the item in the hut, collect the white eggs to the right of the hut, and look for any other eggs the chickens may have laid in your time there. Get back on your boat.
Hook left to go to the northern village. collect the 2 jewels in the skulls (one above the alter, the other above the first hut on the right). Proceed to the end and assist jump your partner. Get back on your boat.
Get the beetle on the tree with the purple flowerds next to it straight ahead as you go around the fence. Hook right and head to the sunken ship and collect the beetle at the water line and the rocket launcher. Leave.
Head to the north west area. Jump in the pond in the middle and collect the beetle. Get back up and head up the ladder and collect the last item in the chest. Press start and exit. Let it save, go to your item management area, and sell of the goods you just collected. Bam! 15k plus in 5 minutes, baby!
