Take it Easy
Description: Playing the game on Easy will make it much easier and will not affect Trophy acquisition whatsoever.

Trophy Collection
Description: After beating the game you can use Chapter Select menu to go back and get all the Trophies with ease.

Alternate Endings
Description: Below is the criteria for unlocking each of Heavy Rain's endings. Each ending is tied to certain Trophies. Check out our Check out our Trophy Guide for a detailed description of how to attain each Trophy.

1) Complete the 'Perfect Crime' Trophy.
This unlocks 'New Start', 'Dead Heroine', 'Uploaded', and 'Unpunished.'

2) Load 'Killer's Place' and succeed in finding the address of the warehouse on the laptop. Survive by hiding in the refrigerator. Complete all following scenes through the 'Old Warehouse' act. Ethan saves Shaun, Madison warns Ethan of the cops and Jayden kills Shelby.
This unlocks 'New Life', 'Origami Grave's', and 'Case Closed.'

3) Load 'Old Warehouse' and fail with all characters. Do not have Madison warn Ethan, and let Shelby kill Jayden.
This unlocks 'Ethan's Grave', 'Heroine', and 'Unpunished.'

4) Load 'The Rat' and fail the trial. Do not locate Shaun by failing the hangman. Have Jayden give up in 'Solving the Puzzle.' Let Madison die in 'Killers Place.'
This unlocks 'Origami Blues' and 'Smoking Mirror.'

5) Load 'Killer's Place' and have Madison escape, but do not use the laptop to find the address of the warehouse (you must wait in the secret room for about two minutes for Shelby to arrive).
This unlocks 'Tears in Rain.'

6) Load 'On the Loose' and let Ethan get arrested the 2nd time. Save Lauren from drowning during 'Trapped.'
Have Jayden give up in 'Solving the Puzzle.' Have Madison escape 'Killer's Place', but do not use the laptop to find the address of the warehouse.
This unlocks 'Helpless', 'Square One', and 'A Mother's Revenge.'

7) Load 'Killer's Place' and successfully obtain the address from the laptop. Select to go to the warehouse ALONE. Have Madison save Shaun in 'Old Warehouse', and then survive the final chase over the roof with Shelby."
This unlocks 'Innocent', 'Heroine', and 'Resignation.'

Easy Butterfly mission!
GLASS TUNNEL: when reached that irritating glass tunnel, the easiest way to get through it is to gently press the R2 button it may be slower but it helps, sure once in awhile you can press hard on the R2 button but not for too long. Most people are tricked into going the opposite way of the candle light, Example: at the end of a tunnel, if the candle is pointing to the right, some people think they need to go left, but no, follow the direction the match flame goes

ELECTRICAL WIRES: some people quit when they come to this mission, it is difficult, I know... but an easy way to get past it is when up to a wire section, just change the camera view, that way it is close up and organized in front of you, so that way you can get a good view on what wire is safe or not!
