Easy "Pit Master" Achievement / Trophy
How to: When fighting on "The Pit 2" (Night) stage in Arcade mode, wait until a shadowy figure flies across the moon, then get a double flawless victory and perform a stage fatality. Now, classic Reptile will challenge you, and you will earn the "Pit Master" Achievement / Trophy. You will get 5,000 coins for defeating him.

Easy "Hide And Seek" Achievement / Trophy
How to: When fighting in "The Living Forest" stage in Arcade mode, when you see Smoke pop out from behind one of the trees, press Down + Select or Down + Back repeatedly. Now, classic Smoke will challenge you and you will earn the "Hide And Seek" Achievement / Trophy. You will get 2,000 coins for defeating him.

Description: While visiting the Krypt, remain idle for about twenty minutes. A scary demon-like creature will appear and make a loud noise. You can also hear this creature scurry around behind you.

Easy Shao Kahn battles
How to: When facing Shao Kahn in the normal ladder, he is much easier and can be defeated by simply backing up continually. He will either taunt or throw his spear, leaving him open for projectile attacks. Teleports are even more useful. Just continue to retreat after each hit you land.

Easy Final Battle [Story mode]
How to: A good strategy to defeat Shao Kahn in the final battle is to retreat as you would normally. He will do one of three things; throw the spear, throw the hammer, or laugh/taunt. If he throws the hammer or taunts, you can teleport behind him and quickly uppercut him, then retreat again. If he throws the spear, teleport at the first possible instant and you can also uppercut. However, if you are too slow he will turn and attack. The safest way to attack if he throws the spear is to teleport, then jump over his head, dodging his attack, then deliver a drop kick followed immediately by the Electric Fly. Always continue to retreat after each hit. Also, the spear can be ducked instead of blocked, saving valuable health that you will lose by blocking

Meadow of Despair: Secret chest
Description: While in the Krypt, go all the way back through the Meadow of Despair towards the Nekropolis until you cannot walk anymore. Go slightly to the right, enough so that the stairs going up to the Nekropolis are about half on the screen. From here, go to the map that shows you all of the Krypt areas. Your marker will show where you are standing. Hold Circle or B to exit and return to the Krypt. When you can control yourself again, you will see "SEC 4" on the screen. Purchase it and a chest will appear from the ground, giving 5,000 Koins. A few attempts may be required to get the positioning correct.

Hollow of Infestation: Secret chest
Description: About half way down the wall and next to the Hollow of Infestation, access the Krypt map by pressing Triangle or Y. Now, exit the map by holding Circle or B. You will see "SEC2" appear at the bottom of your screen. Press X or A to purchase it and receive 5,000 Koins.

Skip Krypt animation
How to: When unlocking anything in the Krypt, press X or A to skip the animation. This makes browsing much faster.

Always fight Goro in Ladder mode
How to: Choose a person at the character selection screen in Ladder mode, Now, hold Select or Back while choosing a difficulty setting. The game will default to include Goro, instead of Kintaro in the boss Fight.

Babalities against Bosses
Description: In order to execute a Babality against a Boss, complete the listed requirements:

Goro or Kintaro: 1st select the Medium or Higher difficulty setting. You can not lose any matches. *** You can lose individual rounds, but you cannot continue. Perform a Babality on Shang Tsung. Do not block during the last round of the fight with Goro or Kintaro. The Babality will execute automatically after you win the match.

Shao Khan: 1st select the Medium or Higher difficulty setting. Do not lose any matches. *** You can lose individual rounds, but you cannot continue. Perform a Babality on all opponents along the ladder, including Shang Tsung and Goro or Kintaro. Do not block during the last round of the fight with Shao Khan. The Babality will execute automatically after you win the match.

Easy Challenge Tower level 300
How to: Select anyone. Just lose enough as long as you do not pause and retry. Instead, wait to lose and then select "Retry". The difficulty will scale down and you will begin regenerating health between fights. Once you lose ten to fifteen fights, the AI pretty much just stands still.

Challenge Tower: Unlimited Koins
Description: In Challenge #265, you must throw Stryker's grenades into a bucket. Each one gives you 50 Koins. Pause game play and retry before the time expires. You can start again, but keep the Koins earned from your previous attempt.

Description: Complete the listed task in Arcade mode to unlock the specified battle.

Secret "Jade" battle	Get a double flawless victory and perform a fatality on Shang Tsung when battling against him
Secret "Noob Saibot" battle	When you see Noob in "The Temple" stage's background, win that battle without using [Block]
Secret "Reptile" battle	On "The Pit 2 (Night)" stage, wait until a shadowy figure flies across the moon, then get a double flawless victory and perform a stage fatality
Secret "Smoke" battle	On "The Living Forest" stage, wait until Smoke appears behind one of the trees then immediately press Down + Select (PlayStation3) or Down + Back (Xbox 360) repeatedly
